Agnieszka Wierzchowska
A graduate of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń in the field of international relations, Aleksander Gieysztor Academy of Humanities in Toruń in the field of pedagogy, postgraduate studies at the University of Warsaw in the field of effective management of a modern educational unit, postgraduate studies at the "Academy of Educational Leaders of the Learning School" and postgraduate studies in "Special pedagogy - education and rehabilitation of people with intellectual disabilities” (oligofrenopedagogy). She has also completed, among others, a qualification course for educational management staff in the field of organisation and management of education, as well as a first degree course in School Tutoring. Currently a student of law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk.
Since 2003, Agnieszka Wierzchowska has been continuously involved in education - first as a teacher of German and since 2013 as the Principal of the III High School with Bilingual Classes in Płock. Prior to that, she worked at the Education Office in Warsaw, where she served, among others, as a Director of the Branch Office in Płock.
For her achievements she was awarded, among others, with the Medal Komisji Edukacji Narodowej, awards of the President of the City of Płock, as well as the Medal Brązowy za Długoletnią Służbę.
She is a passionate handball fan and travel enthusiast.
On 1 July 2024, Agnieszka Wierzchowska was appointed Mazovian Education Deputy Superintendent.
